OPERATION AIRDROP COMPLETES TEXAS Hill Country FLOOD AIRLIFT MISSION

Central Texas – Operation Airdrop has successfully completed the airlift phase of its Texas Flood Relief mission. In a remarkable show of grassroots aviation and community support, 105 flights carried critical supplies into flood-impacted areas across Central Texas.

Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our volunteer pilots, donors, and community partners, essential tools such as chainsaws, bars, bug spray, boots, rakes, cleaning supplies and shovels were delivered directly into areas that were otherwise difficult to access and widespread flooding.

These items provided immediate support for debris removal, cleanup, and safety for affected families and volunteers on the ground.

“As we witnessed water levels drop, our mission naturally shifted,” said Russ Keith, Executive Director of Operation Airdrop.

Operation Airdrop remains committed to serving communities through rapid-response aviation and sustained recovery support. The Texas mission is a testament to the power of aviation-based humanitarian relief and the unwavering spirit of neighbors helping neighbors.
